He wasn't my first crush, that would have been the Everly Brothers when I was very little, but I adored him. I still remember the stories a good friend used to tell me about Davy, Peter, and Mickey when they drove from the Strip back to the Valley in the 60s. She was a go-go dancer on the Strip so as I recall they did some "carpooling". It soon became apparent to her that they drove Mullholland way too fast so she took over all the driving. Said they were all really nice guys.
